IT & Process Specialist
(40 hours per week)
What does your day look like?
The IT & Process department has been instructed by management to improve the efficiency of the processing of new customer registrations on our webshop, and you will be responsible for this project. You will observe the current process and identify various bottlenecks. You talk to colleagues on the shop floor and ask them for their ideas. You incorporate the knowledge you have gained into a clear process diagram, which you can later put to good use during the feedback in your fortnightly regular consultation with Sales. You see that a very quick Return Of Investment can be realised through this project and these ‘Quick Wins’ make you very happy!
This afternoon, you are working with one of our project leaders and you ask her for advice on your project plan you have made for improving the process around creditworthiness checking. You yourself have a good idea of what needs to be done and she helps you with some suggestions for the project approach. You are on the right track with this project and that makes you happy.
Before closing the day, you check a new support ticket received from our Czech office. You pass this hardware request on to our ICT support partner.
What is your responsibility?
- As IT & Process Specialist, you will be responsible for several small projects. In these projects, you will receive support from an experienced project leader in terms of project methodology and approach.
- You plan (periodic) project meetings, monitor the implementation of action points and have a keen eye for risks, both for the projects and for the continuity of the business during implementations.
- In larger projects, you may take on some responsibility under the supervision of the project leader.
- You are also responsible for managing incidents (10%), ensuring fast and effective solutions.
What do you have up your sleeve?
You are a customer-oriented service provider with focused IT experience. You think like an entrepreneur with an eye for results. You quickly get to the heart of a problem and then solve it systematically. You switch easily between functionalities and technology, keeping an overview of your tasks. With your focus on continuous development and improvement, you share your knowledge with your colleagues, so that together we can be successful!
Your must haves:
- Bachelor/ MBO degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 4+ years of experience as an ICT professional
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel. In addition, clearly state in your CV any knowledge you have of systems such as Salesforce, ERP, web shops or methodologies such as Prince2, agile, SCRUM.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Besides the Dutch language, your command of the English language is excellent.
- Willingness to travel to our office in the Czech Republic (3-6 times a year).
