IT & Process Project Manager
(40 hours per week)
What does your day look like?
The IT & Process department has been tasked with optimizing the print-order process from customer request to delivery. You manage a project group of six people including representation from the business, the software supplier and IT from both our Czech and Dutch branches. Together with them, you have defined the minimum viable product and you set the lines on how to get there using 2-weekly sprints. Today is the kick-off of sprint 3 and you are exactly aware of the status so far because you monitor, tune and adjust every day. You are therefore looking forward to the project group meeting at the end of the morning in which you can set out the next steps.
This afternoon, you are working with one of our IT & Process Specialists. She has asked for your feedback on the project plan she created to improve the registration and checks on customer credit limits. She has a clear improvement proposal and you help her with some suggestions for the project approach. You both conclude with a good feeling. You have again been able to share your experience in the best possible way and that makes you happy.
What is your responsibility?
- You will be responsible for leading major projects. In these projects, you may receive support from an IT & Process Specialist in going through the various project phases.
- You plan (periodic) project meetings, monitor the implementation of action points and have a keen eye for risks, both for the projects and for the continuity of the business during implementations.
- You are also responsible for guiding the IT & Process Specialist on project methodology and approach.
Who are you?
You are a customer-oriented service provider with focused project management experience in IT. You think like an entrepreneur with an eye for results. You quickly get to the heart of a problem and then solve it systematically. You switch easily between functionalities and technology, keeping an overview of your tasks. With your focus on continuing to develop and improve yourself, you share your knowledge with your colleagues so that we can be successful together!
Your must haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as an ICT project manager (if you are an inquisitive junior, we also cordially invite you to respond).
- You have strong social skills, enabling you to convince stakeholders during board meetings with your personal persuasiveness.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel. In addition, clearly indicate in your CV any knowledge of systems such as Salesforce, ERP, web shops or methodologies such as Prince2, agile, SCRUM.
- Able to communicate technical concepts clearly to both a technical and non-technical audience.
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages.
- Willingness to travel to our facility in the Czech Republic (3-6 times a year).
